victory garden

our victory garden is planted...

it was kinda easy and rather enjoyable. the kids were semi-angels. it was sort of a fun activity.

our white house garden includes - tomatoes, spanish onions, banana peppers, cucumbers, hungarian peppers, sweet basil, bibb lettuce, romaine lettuce, patio pickles, and strawberries.

bring on the bruschetta!

Nice. I like the use of the palette. Did the Obamas use a palette in their garden?

no, i actually got the original idea from you. i saw one in someone's trash so i "recycled" it, thinking i would break it down into raised beds as you did. then i got really lazy and thought, why not just fill it up with dirt? i'll let you know if it works.

Cool. We are in process of putting in a perm. veggie garden. We had to build it up with timbers in the back of the yard due to the slope. Trying strawberries, blueberries, and grapes too. Fun!!

cover your blueberries or the birdies will eat them!
